This role is perfect for someone passionate about wine, eager to share knowledge, and
skilled at creating meaningful guest interactions. You’ll guide guests through our
boutique wine selections and crafted food menu, recommend pairings, and ensure
every visit feels warm, elevated, and memorable.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide exceptional service by guiding guests through wine lists and helping them
discover their new favorite wines.
· Share wine knowledge in a fun, approachable way - from grape varietals to tasting
notes and regions.
· Support and deliver an engaging experience that celebrates building connection and a wine loving community in North Scottsdale.
· Achieve daily team sales goals through exceptional service to all guests.
· Schedule tables and respond to guest messages.
· Maintain store standards and operational tasks.
· Stay current on new wines, special features, and promotions - and share with both
staff and guests.
· Ensure proper service standards, including pouring, presenting, and describing wines with confidence.
Qualifications:
· Available afternoons/evenings, 3–5 shifts per week (including at least 2 closing shifts & 1 weekend day).
· A genuine passion for wine and curiosity to keep learning.
· Strong customer service and communication skills.
· Positive, engaging personality with the ability to connect easily with guests.
· Organized, reliable, and committed to creating memorable guest experiences.
· At least 21 years old.
Experience Preferred:
· Basic Wine knowledge or Wine Certifications.
· Customer Service and/or Sales experience.
· Knowledge of wine service or a desire to learn more through on-the-job education.
· Familiarity with POS systems and handling transactions.
· Willingness to obtain required certifications (AZ Title 4 Liquor, Food Handler).
Hourly pay - $15.15 - $16.50 ( tips)
Salary : $15 - $17
