What You Will Do

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. What You Will Do
- Breaks down complex projects and independently designs and implements successful long-term solutions.
- Evaluates technical designs for high-impact projects and advises teams to improve execution.
- Collaborates across teams and disciplines to solve problems and resolve technical debates.
- Stays aware of changes to the company to anticipate and prevent obstacles from hindering team performance.
- Mentors other senior and staff engineers and partners with managers on strategy, collaboration, influence, execution, and other aspects of leadership.
- Participates in hiring; partnering with recruiters to align on candidate profiles, guiding and filling open engineering positions to improve efficiency in hiring pipelines.
- Expected to possess deep technical domain knowledge of Turo, including DevOps adoption, to understand Turo’s infrastructure, system architecture, and build and deployment environments such that they can address critical issues in a timely fashion.
