What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Associate position at TurnSignl?
TurnSignl is hiring an entry-level Marketing Associate to focus on planning, managing, and implementing various campaigns (social, online, email) to support both marketing and customer support functions. This Marketing Associate will create content and collateral, own our social media channels, collaborate on new marketing campaigns, monitor consumer feedback, and communicate market/industry trends.
The goal of this role is to drive growth across TurnSignl's owned channels, and to increase overall consumer adoption. The Marketing Associate will work directly with our leadership team in a collaborative, fast-paced, and exciting environment.
This is a full-time salaried position with occasional evening or weekend attendance expectations. We are eager to connect with applicants that are looking to join a mission-oriented company, especially those with a passion for social justice and community-building.
What You’ll Do
- Expand our online presence through management of social media campaigns and related initiatives
- Brand awareness by supporting events and partnership marketing efforts (remote and occasionally in-person)
- Co-create a collateral inventory that you’re proud of, including various marketing assets, blog posts, case studies, and topic-driven videos, etc.
- Become operationally excellent: support the marketing ecosystem with tools and reporting that showcase completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities
- Work with our Director of Marketing to successfully increase TurnSignl’s industry presence while you identify and achieve your own professional goals
- Shared responsibility for some customer support functions, including post-incident follow ups, ticketing system responses, and development of our consumer Knowledge Base
- Other responsibilities to support marketing and technology goals, as needed

What You Need
- Exceptional communication and conversational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Experience with or willingness to learn technology platforms: Microsoft Office suite, Mailchimp, Social Media, and project management sofware (Airtable or Notion preferred)
- Ability to travel (up to 20%) to Minneapolis-St. Paul area events
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, and/or Business
TurnSignl will happily consider any other equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Pay:
- $50,000-$55,000 annually (salaried position)
Supplemental Pay:
- Performance-based bonus opportunities available
Work Location:
- Hybrid, must be able to work in-person at our Minneapolis, MN office at least 2x per week
