About Turnovur
Turnovur has provided professional cleaning since 2018, serving hotels, short-term rentals, and property managers. We're looking for one person to help us win new hotel accounts in Portland.
The Role
You'll visit Portland hotels in person, meet the General Manager or head of housekeeping, and sign them up for our cleaning services. This is a part-time W2 position paying hourly plus commission. You set your own schedule, about 15-20 hours per week during weekday business hours.
This is a great fit for hospitality professionals, semi-retired professionals, or anyone with weekday daytime availability who wants meaningful side income.
What You'll Do
- Visit Portland hotels and introduce Turnovur to General Managers and housekeeping leaders.
- Do quick property walkthroughs using our simple checklist.
- Present the quote we prepare and get the service agreement signed.
- Log your visits and results in our tracker, and clock your hours in our app.
- Meet with the owner for a 30-minute check-in once a week.
Pay
- $18/hour for up to 20 hours per week, starting day one
- 12% commission on what each hotel pays us for its first 6 months, then 4% for months 7–12
- Commissions are paid monthly on collected revenue.
Example: You sign a hotel that pays us $10,000/month. You earn $1,200/month in commission for the first six months and $400/month for the next six, which totals $9,600 from one hotel, on top of your hourly pay.
Commissions typically begin 2–3 months after you start, once your first hotels are signed and billed. We'll review your progress together at 90 days.
Who We're Looking For
- Comfortable walking into a hotel and asking for the manager
- Hospitality experience is a big plus, such as housekeeping, front desk, or hotel operations. Sales experience isn't required.
- Self-motivated, organized, and reliable without daily supervision
- Available during weekday business hours, when hotel managers are on-site
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a smartphone
- Lives in the Portland metro area
