Job Description:
Constituents of the City of Atlanta regularly engage the city government to report issues and request city services. The city utilizes a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to capture, track, and respond to citizens’ issues and requests. City of Atlanta recently implemented a new CRM solution from Microsoft Dynamics 365 and is seeking a Solutions Architect to support the application.
As a Microsoft Dynamics Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics solutions to meet the business needs of customers. You will play a critical role in translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring the successful deployment of Dynamics 365 applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Architecture
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications
- Design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Develop architecture diagrams, data models, and integration strategies
Implementation and Customization
- Configure, tune, and optimize Dynamics 365 applications
- Develop custom plugins, workflows, scripts, and integrations
- Ensure smooth integration with other enterprise systems
Project Management
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources for CRM initiatives
- Provide project updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders
- Conduct solution testing, user training, and post-deployment support
Technical Leadership
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members and developers
- Advocate for Microsoft and CRM best practices in solution architecture
- Stay current with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform enhancements and tools
Client Engagement
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders
- Lead workshops, demos, and presentations on CRM capabilities
- Build strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction through solution alignment
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization and configuration
- Strong command of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate)
- Proficiency in Azure services, .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL
- Familiarity with data migration methods and tools
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
- Proven success leading end-to-end Dynamics 365 projects
- Experience across multiple Dynamics 365 modules such as Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Operations
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate
