What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Foreman position at Turnkey Services?
We are seeking a part time Construction Foreman to join our team! You will supervise crews across multiple trades for projects in the Cleveland area.
Commercial construction job site experience required. OSHA certified preferred, OSHA familiarity required. Construction project management software experience preferred. Must be familiar with construction assemblies, specifically framing, drywall, and painting.
Potential for full time after 30 days and potential for advancement. Paid holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee aspects of construction projects assigned to our team.
- Assist with manual labor as needed to meet deadlines and maintain worksite orderliness.
- Allocate resources for assigned projects.
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
- Attend weekly onsite safety meeting for projects.
- Ensure all required safety docs received from crews and employees.
- Interface with site supervisors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
- Complete daily logs in project management software.
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial construction management or other related fields.
- Familiarity with painting, drywall, and framing trades.
- Familiarity with Union projects.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Able to travel to jobsites within Greater Cleveland area.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
