Renovation and Make Ready Technician

Turnkey Property Services is seeking a skilled Renovation / Make Ready Technician to handle installation-focused renovation work across the properties we service for our clients. A successful technician in this position will consistently finish work across multiple trades with a level of quality and timeliness that turns units into move-in-ready condition on schedule.

Turnkey Property Services is a property services and trades contractor serving single-family homes and small multifamily properties across the greater Saint Louis, MO market. We handle maintenance, make-ready, and renovation work for our property management clients, with a team of skilled technicians who take pride in doing the job right the first time.

Responsibilities

The following reflect the full scope of the role — strong candidates may not have hands-on experience in every area listed.

• Install and repair flooring (LVP, tile, laminate, carpet as needed — proficiency may vary by material type)
• Install and repair cabinetry, countertops, and trim/finish carpentry
• Perform tile work for kitchens, bathrooms, and other wet areas
• Complete drywall and plaster repair
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as part of full unit turns
• Coordinate with the Maintenance / Make Ready team on unit turnover timelines
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including thorough descriptions of the issue and repair and before-and-after photos for each job
• Follow safety protocols and code requirements on all jobs
• Communicate clearly with property managers, tenants, and internal staff on unit status and timelines

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in renovation, remodeling, or a related skilled trade
• Own basic hand tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to use company software on a smartphone for logging hours, viewing work orders, and updating project status
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, kneel/crouch for extended periods, and work in varied conditions

Pay & Schedule

• Pay range: $25–$30/hr, based on experience
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
