Plant Foreman

The Plant Foreman, Walker County Stone, will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for the supervision and daily operation of the facility to ensure maximized efficiency in Safety, Quality, and Production of the operation.
• Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities in an industrial environment.
• Enforce/maintain safety procedures, awareness, and engagement at jobsite including conducting weekly safety meetings with employees.
• Coordinate work force to drive plant outputs, training employees on equipment and operating procedures.
• Maintain operational goals by monitoring outputs and communicate information to Management.
• Produce and communicate reports to other areas of Production, Quality, and Management.
• Minimize downtime of plant and improve efficiency in operations.
• Coordinates maintenance and repair schedules for machines.
• Inspect, identify, and implement solutions on safety hazards.
• Employee may be subject to changing weather conditions, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, working from heights, and non-hazardous chemicals.

• Minimum 5 years’ recent related experience with at least 3 years’ of supervisory experience.
• Thorough understanding of the production operations and equipment in a frac sand plant.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.
• Agree to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company.
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle records check (when applicable), and physical/occupational screenings.
