Lawn Service Technician

Job Status: Part-Time/Full-Time
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Description
Cultivates lawns according to specifications by performing the following duties
Major Duties
- Lifts dead leaves and grass from between growing grass and soil.
- Pierces soil to make holes for fertilizer and water.
- Presses aerator fork into soil and pulls rake through grass to cultivate areas not accessible to machines.
- Distributes granulated fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides on lawn.
- Records services rendered, materials used, and charges assessed on specified form.
- Transports thatcher, aerator, tools, and materials to and from job site.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must Have a Valid Driver's License

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
