Job Requirements

Starting Salary Range: $47,470 to $56,970 yearly

PLUS $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

As Sous Chef, you will support the Chef de Cuisine in leading the kitchen team, ensuring exceptional food quality, mentoring culinary staff, and helping deliver unforgettable dining experiences where the cuisine is every bit as impressive as the view.

What does a Sous Chef do?

• Supporting the Chef de Cuisine in overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency during service.
• Preparing and executing menu items with precision while maintaining the highest culinary and presentation standards.
• Mentoring and guiding culinary team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on growth, knowledge, and passion for food.
• Assisting with menu execution, recipe adherence, and food preparation to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintaining strict food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization standards.
• Helping coordinate service and communicate with the culinary team to ensure smooth and successful dining experiences.

Work Experience

Key attributes we're seeking as a Sous Chef are:

• Proven experience in the kitchen and mentorship, coupled with a strong desire to continue learning and growing in their culinary career.
• A minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• The ability to read and interpret schedules, menus, policies, and other written materials.
• A collaborative approach to diverse cuisines, combined with an energetic drive to consistently deliver exceptional dishes.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds.
