Seasonal Activities Coordinator - The Cove

Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 hourly

Day/Swing shift available

The Activities Coordinator creates a fun, safe, and engaging guest experience by overseeing the pool and playground areas and organizing on-site activities and events. This role monitors safety and water quality, encourages guest participation, communicates upcoming programs, and delivers friendly, professional service while continually developing new activity ideas.

What does an Activities Coordinator do?

• Monitors and oversees pool and playground areas.
• Creates and oversees activities calendar. Ensures a safe and fun environment for all participants engaged in all activities; including at the pool and playground. Monitors pool activities.
• Encourages guest\visitor participation.
• Consistently delivers positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. Always maintains a positive and professional working relationship with guests, team members, and vendors.
• Researches new ideas for programs and activities taking into account guest feedback.
• Ensures required materials and information are available and prepared for events or activities.

To be successful as an Activities Coordinator, you'll need:

• High School Diploma/Equivalency required.
• Previous experience creating and organizing activities preferred.
• Lifeguard experience preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 31 - 40 pounds.
