What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Cashier - YBR Casino & Sports Book position at Turning Stone Enterprises?
Starting Pay Rate: $17.50 hourly
Swing shift available
- 16 hours per week
- Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:15p-2:15a
Join our team as a Retail Cashier and help create a welcoming experience for every guest! In this role, you'll provide exceptional guest service while assisting with food and beverage orders, retail purchases, and daily cashier transactions. You'll also help maintain a clean, organized environment while sharing your knowledge of products and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
What does a Retail Cashier do?
- Greet and initiate conversations with customers as they enter their respective venue.
- Demonstrate exceptional guest service skills when selling F&B and Retail items to either guests or employees and informs guests of casino operations and outlet locations
- Continually operate cash register or cash bank and accepts payment for F&B and Retail product(s) ensuring accuracy when making change
- Always ensure that assigned area is kept orderly, continually cleaned, and sanitized.
- Work consistently as a team member to help ensure that breaks in various venues are covered.
- Understand that they may be required to help cover shifts in other venues for call outs and that last minute changes may happen to facilitate the best interest of the Casino

Work Experience
To be successful as a Retail Cashier, you'll need:
- The ability to speak English and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- To possess the ability to count money and make correct change.
- To be able to ring in orders and settle checks on Point of Sale system.
- Must be able to keep an accurate record of product and sold product.
- The ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41 - 50 pounds.
