The Crescent is the newest luxury hotel joining the award-winning Turning Stone Enterprises resort in Verona, NY, opening in 2026 as part of our transformative Evolution. This sophisticated new property will feature over 250 beautifully designed guest rooms and suites, upscale dining at Salt Seafood & Raw Bar, and direct access to the state-of-the-art Grand Expo convention center. The Front Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational efficiency of the front desk, ensuring seamless guest service and optimal hotel performance. This role oversees staffing, training, systems functionality, inventory management, and adherence to all policies and procedures while serving as a key point of leadership in the absence of the Director. Working collaboratively with internal hotel departments, Casino Marketing, and Sales teams, the Front Office Manager ensures accurate forecasting, room pricing, and exceptional guest experiences through effective communication, problem resolution, and a strong commitment to service excellence.

What You Will Do As a Front Office Manager
- Effectively schedule staff to ensure sufficient front desk coverage at all times.
- Ensures Front Desk staff maintain complete knowledge of and follow all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain sufficient supply of all front desk materials and supplies. Orders all needed materials in a timely manner.
- Regularly ensure that all systems are in working order and maintains complete knowledge of all system applications (ie. P.M.S., Electronic Keys, Movie System, Telephone System).
- Ensure all areas are working properly in the absence of the Director.
- Interact with guests effectively answering questions, solving problems, and handling complaints.
- Have a professional working relationship with all other hotel functions: PBX/Reservations, Housekeeping, Front Service, Guest Services, to ensure proper interaction of each area, lending itself to a complete guest package.
- Maintain responsibility for hotel room inventory. Manages room blocks, hotel forecast and pricing of hotel rooms at the direction of the Director.
- Work closely with Casino Marketing Department, Hotel Sales and Group Sales to ensure the hotel needs of these departments are being met.
- Supervise and communicate daily with Assistant Front Desk Manager and Front Desk Supervisors to ensure areas are being run in accordance to departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain complete knowledge of property management system and trains others on its intricacies.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding and responsibility for ensuring the operating efficiency of the Inn at Turning Stone.

Work Experience
To be successful as a Front Office Manager, you'll need:
- Must have at least a 2 year college degree.
- Must have experience in a leadership role.
- Hotel front desk experience required.
- Must be able to type at least 40 wpm.
- Must have computer experience.
- Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds.
