Nurse Manager - Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-time, Night Shift
The Nurse Manager position is a managerial position accountable to the Director of Nursing and has responsibility for ensuring the overall efficient operation of the department in various aspects including creating, maintaining and managing a therapeutic milieu within the treatment program to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point.

- Supervising RNs, LPNs, MHTs, and ancillary staff by making assignments and monitoring patient care
- Providing quality nursing care to meet identified patient outcomes
- Carrying out assigned functions according to philosophy, goal and objectives of the hospital and program unit
- Contributing as an active part of the treatment team
- Providing redirection & consistency

Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred.
- Four (4) years of experience as a RN. Experience in a behavioral health/substance abuse/psychiatric setting preferred.
- Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing certifications preferred.
- Positions of progressive responsibility including supervisory and/or administrative nursing roles preferred.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing.
- Must be able to interact appropriately with all populations served and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment preferred.
- Must demonstrate competence to participate in interdisciplinary formulation of individual treatment plans; to give skilled nursing care; and to direct, monitor, and evaluate the nursing care furnished.
