What are the responsibilities and job description for the School-Based BCBA position at Turning Point Behavioral Services?
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver applied behavior analysis services to students with autism spectrum disorder and other related developmental delays
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments, write treatment plans, and complete ongoing implementation and monitoring of plans
- School consultation providing districts with curriculum modification, behavior improvement plans, and staff training.
- Client behavior management – design, collect, graph, analyze, and report client data
- Conduct parent and staff training and monitor consistent implementation procedures
- Collaborate with families and educational teams to ensure program consistency
- Provide direct instruction using evidenced based practices
- Provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians
- Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- Certification/Licensure in Applied Behavioral Analysis
- Three to five years of experience working as a BCBA with students with ASD or other developmental delays
- Experience working as a collaborative member of an educational team
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with focus on school personnel and families
