Duties
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to follow up with voters who have not yet submitted their ballots, ensuring they have completed the process
- Engage residents through friendly, face-to-face conversations to explain ballot procedures and answer questions about voting options
- Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update voter status, and manage outreach data efficiently
- Promote voter participation by canvassing neighborhoods and community centers with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Coordinate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and maximize community engagement impact
- Assist voters in understanding ballot materials and provide guidance on the voting process when needed
- Maintain respectful, positive interactions while navigating outdoor environments on foot or using transportation methods
Experience
- Supervising experience in community outreach or field sales roles is highly desirable
- Proven experience in canvassing, door-to-door sales, or outdoor work environments
- Strong background in customer service, community engagement, or fundraising activities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively face-to-face and negotiate persuasively with diverse populations
- Bilingual skills are a plus to connect with a broader range of community members
- Experience with mobile devices for data entry or communication during outreach efforts
- Prior telemarketing or outbound calling experience is beneficial but not required
