Turning Brook | Alpena, MI
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay 15.50-16.00
Part-Time | Every Other Weekend & Holiday Rotation Required

Turning Brook Assisted Living, located in beautiful Alpena, MI, is hiring compassionate Direct Care Workers and experienced Medication Passers to join our supportive and dedicated team.
Whether you're just starting your career in caregiving or have prior experience, we provide all the training you'll need to succeed — and you’ll make a real difference every day.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating)
- Administer medications (experience preferred, training provided)
- Follow individualized care plans
- Support residents’ emotional and physical well-being
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
- Previous medication administration experience a plus
- Must be available to work every other weekend and rotate holidays
- No license required – we offer complete on-the-job training
