Overview
Turner's Tots Learning Center is seeking a reliable and flexible Floater Teaching Assistant to support classrooms as needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and is passionate about early childcare education.
Shift Availability Required (must be flexible to work either shift depending on the day 3-4 days a week)
-8am - 2pm or 11:30am-5:15pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
-8am - 4:30pm (Tuesday, Thursday)
Duties
- Assist with daily classroom activities
- Help maintain a safe, clean and nurturing environment
- Support children's learning, play and routines
- Manage classroom behavior and support classroom management strategies to create a safe and engaging environment.
- Float between classrooms based on daily staffing needs
- Supervise children and ensure their well-being at al times
- Foster positive communication with children, parents, and staff to enhance collaboration and address individual learning goals.
Qualifications
- Prior classroom experience or preschool experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, or early childhood learners.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, teachers, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced educational setting.
Pay: $16.75 - $17.25 per hour
