What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate - Retail Store position at TURNER'S FURNITURE?

What This Job Really Involves:
- Lifting, moving, and positioning furniture throughout the showroom and warehouse
- Resetting showroom floors and displays in coordination with the Visual Merchandiser
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks carefully and safely
- Unloading freight trucks and receiving incoming furniture
- Unboxing, inspecting, and preparing merchandise for delivery
- Assisting customers with loading furniture into their vehicles
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe (sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep)
- Completing basic in-house repairs and special projects
- Following all safety procedures at all times
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service when interacting with guests on the showroom floor
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to lift and move furniture regularly throughout the day
- Comfort working in a warehouse and showroom environment
- Dependable, team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to help customers and coworkers as needed
Requirements:
- Turner’s Furniture is a Drug-Free Workplace — drug screening required
