Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nicholasville, KY, for a Digicon Equipment Operator. The role involves operating and maintaining Digicon finishing equipment to meet production and quality standards. Responsibilities include performing machine setups, monitoring print quality, troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines. The operator will ensure that all production runs are optimized for efficiency and adhere to customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience with operating and maintaining Digicon finishing equipment or similar machinery
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes, troubleshooting, and problem-solving in a production environment
- Ability to read and follow technical specifications, blueprints, or work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks
- Experience in the printing or label industry is a plus
- Technical training or certification in machinery operation is preferred
