Turner Industries Group is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician for our Decatur, AL office. This position's primary responsibility is to keep the Decatur facilities functional and safe. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and experience using computers.
This Position Is Also Responsible For
Employee may be required to do the following: reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; standing; sitting; walking; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work; comparing and understanding differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects; picturing and evaluating solid objects from drawings or diagrams using standards that can be measured or checked; following oral and/or written directions, plans and blueprints; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards.

This Position Is Also Responsible For
- Maintaining buildings, grounds, and associated equipment with the properties
- Buildings and grounds maintenance
- Inspections, monthly / yearly on fire, and safety equipment.
- Utilities, Plumbing, Security and Gate access.
- HVAC, change filters, clean units per schedule. Coordinate repairs.
- Building lighting, electrical system and network wiring maintenance and repairs.
- Ground maintenance-parking lot grading, lighting, and cleaning.
- Coordinate landscaping, grasscutting, weed eating & spraying.
- Bush hog property as needed.
- Monitor janitorial service which includes bathrooms and office areas.
- Schedule, perform and document all necessary preventative maintenance plans.
- Manage contractor repairs for buildings and grounds.
- Schedule shipping of any packages or freight departing the facility.
