We are hiring a Cost Accountant to join our team in Pensacola, FL. The overall purpose of the Project Accountant position is to assist Project Management, Field Personnel and Accounting Management to ensure invoicing on each project is handled in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner.
Essential Qualifications
Employee must help Project Accountants prepare and submit to our clients, detailed and accurate invoices of reimbursable costs associated with maintenance and construction projects; employee must effectively communicate and work closely with other departments, field personnel and client representatives to adequately compile invoicing information and problem resolution; employee must work well with other Project Accountants and offer assistance when a co-workers workload deems necessary. Any other free time will be filled with special projects such as client audits, system conversions, etc. as deemed necessary by Project Accountants and Project Accounting Management; employee must help Project Accountants prepare detailed and accurate month end accruals (when necessary) and will help to efficiently research, report, and explain any billing transactions to Accounting Management; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
