Turner Industries is hiring an experienced Billing Clerk for work in the the Freeport, TX area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Communicates with clients/customers for billing purposes
- Compiles billing data, enters data, and reconciles errors, to maintain records, utilizing spreadsheets and word processing applications
- Reviews info computed to ensure accuracy
- Maintains records
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience or equivalent combinations of experience, training, and/or education in Payroll, Timekeeping or Banking
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines
- Must be self-directed and detail oriented
- Must be proficient in Excel
- Schedule subject to change

Qualification Standards:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combinations of experience and training
- Knowledge of business machines, computers and/or menu driven applications
- May be required to have knowledge of computer software such as MS Office Applications, EnterpriseOne, JDEdwards, SAP, etc.
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Group, LLC. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place
Physical Involvement:

- Location: industrial construction sites and/or office environment
- Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathways
- Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately indoor climate; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances
