Sierra Grande, a Ted Turner Retreat, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Spa Attendant to join our team and help deliver an exceptional spa experience to our guests.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Spa Attendant, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests! You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and ambiance of the spa, assisting with guests’ needs, and ensuring that every guest feels pampered and well cared for.
You will also be responsible for:
- Welcoming and assisting guests with check-in, and ensuring they feel at home throughout their spa experience.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tranquility of all spa areas, including treatment rooms, lounge areas, and mineral soak facilities.
- Filling and setting up hot mineral soaks for guests, maintaining all soaking tubs on schedule.
- Assisting therapists and technicians with the preparation and clean-up of treatment rooms, ensuring a smooth flow of services.
- Keeping spa amenities stocked and offering guests refreshments to enhance their relaxation experience.
- Familiarizing yourself with our spa services and wellness products, helping guests make informed choices that elevate their stay.
- Ensuring guest safety by following all hygiene and sanitation protocols, especially in the mineral soak and common areas.
- Handling spa laundry duties which include collecting, sorting, washing, drying and restocking linens, towels, and robes, ensuring guests always have clean and fresh supplies.
- Escorting guests to treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and other spa facilities.
- Handling phone inquiries, guest concerns and complaints, booking appointments, answering questions, and providing information on our spa services.
- Training on multiple functions of the spa.
- Following all Sierra Grande Policies and Procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional service to guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- You’ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience working in a luxury hospitality setting and/or spa environment.
