What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker/Bakery Clerk position at Turner Baking Co?
Baker needed for a busy retail bakery in Turner, OR. We produce fresh breads, pastries, and savory items. Ideal candidate will have both commercial Baking experience plus customer service skills, as there will be some crossover between the kitchen and the retail side. We are a quaint, small town establishment with a big heart and need one more team member to round our our staff. Outstanding quality, friendly working environment and a great customer base are our hallmarks. Position is part time (3 days per week) to start. Weekends are a must
Must have experience in professional kitchen/restaurant or bakery environment.
Attention to detail and Efficiency are important to us. We are an semi-open kitchen, cleanliness and is a must
Shifts start at 4:00am or 6:00am depending on position
*Tips are paid out daily, split among employees
Duties include:
- Mixing and preparing recipes (Breads, Rolls, Cookies, Pastries, Sweets)
- Using equipment such as Large mixers and ovens
- End of day cleanup
- Helpful Customers and using the Register
