As the Mental Health Director / JBBS Coordinator, you will help individuals gain access to treatment, behavioral health resources, recovery support, housing assistance, and community services that can significantly improve long-term outcomes.
You'll work alongside correctional, medical, psychiatric, and community partners to ensure individuals receive the care and support they need during incarceration and beyond.

YOUR ROLE
This position is divided between:
β’ 20 hours per week providing direct mental health services
β’ 20 hours per week coordinating Jail Based Behavioral Health Services (JBBS)
Mental Health Services
β’ Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations
β’ Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention
β’ Develop treatment plans and clinical recommendations
β’ Coordinate care with medical and psychiatric providers
β’ Monitor inmate mental health status and facilitate referrals
JBBS Program Coordination
β’ Coordinate Jail Based Behavioral Health Services activities
β’ Conduct eligibility screenings and assessments
β’ Manage referrals and treatment coordination
β’ Facilitate discharge planning and continuity of care
β’ Connect individuals with housing, treatment, and community resources
β’ Collaborate with courts, probation, parole, social services, and community partners
β’ Maintain program compliance, documentation, and reporting

WHAT YOU BRING
β’ Active Colorado LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent license preferred
β’ Experience providing behavioral health services
β’ Knowledge of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
β’ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
β’ Experience with case management or care coordination preferred
β’ Ability to work effectively in a correctional healthcare environment
β’ Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation
