The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) provides vital support to patients and nursing staff under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role is essential to ensuring safe medication administration and supporting daily healthcare operations within the facility.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Accurately document medication administration and patient responses
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Assist with routine patient care as directed by licensed nurses
Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety standards
Support nursing staff with daily clinical operations
Valid, unrestricted Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
Ability to pass a background check
Work in a secure, structured healthcare environment
