What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at TurLizzie, LLC?
The Inn at Gristmill Square in Warm Springs, VA is looking for a part-time front office assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is very customer service oriented, as well as self-driven, motivated, trustworthy and dependable. This position will work 2-3 days per week averaging 18-27 hours (maybe more in season, less in the winter months).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and screen phone calls
- Make new, and edit existing, room reservations
- Make/cancel/modify dining reservations
- Check guests in/out
- Sell Gift Certificates
- Light retail sales duties
- Organize Housekeeping daily task list
- Maintaining office cleanliness and organization of resources
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Proven experience working at a front desk or reservations, or a similar position
- Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office a MUST!
- Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manner
- Time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to sit for long periods of time
- Flexible schedule. Must be able to work days/weekends/holidays as needed
- MUST be extremely reliable with a proven track record for excellent attendance!
