As a Mechanical Engineer on the Propulsion team, you’ll work across the full development lifecycle from early concept and detailed design through analysis, fabrication, integration, and testing. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver flight hardware that is robust, reliable, and ready for space. This role is on site at our Irvine, CA HQ.

Key Responsibilities
- Design propellant management subsystems and/or other propulsion subsystems under accelerated timelines
- Review specifications and other engineering data to develop mechanical systems
- Update designs and drawings through engineering change orders to support our rapid pace of design iteration
- Create detailed component and assembly drawings incorporating an understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
- Generate manufacturing and assembly methods for designs
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
- 1 years of mechanical design and drafting experience (including internship experience)
- Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience developing a propellant management system
- Solid understanding and application of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
- Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
- Hands-on experience working on teams designing hardware in a highly constrained system under defined timelines
- Experience working in aerospace or space technology sectors, including understanding of the unique requirements and challenges associated with mechanical systems for space missions
- Experience working with welded structures, fluid systems, manifold design, piping, valves, or propellant tanking
- Ability to document and present technical information clearly

Salary : $115,000 - $150,000
