Retail Private Investigator - 50896

Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in retail loss prevention, fraud detection, or corporate security — particularly at the level expected for licensed investigators or asset protection specialists responsible for theft prevention, risk management, and incident resolution.

Role Overview:

• In this role, you will be working on projects to help evaluate and improve AI using your investigative and analytical expertise.
• No prior AI experience is required.
• These projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to strengthen fraud detection, enhance risk assessment, and optimize retail and corporate security operations.

What Does Day-to-Day Look Like:

• Design and solve real-world retail investigation and loss prevention scenarios to test AI reasoning.
• Write clear, structured explanations covering surveillance methods, fraud analysis, evidence handling, and incident reporting.
• Evaluate AI responses for legal accuracy, compliance with consumer protection laws, and operational relevance.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to refine model understanding of security procedures, investigative best practices, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience as a Private Investigator, Loss Prevention Specialist, or Security Manager in retail or corporate settings.
• Valid investigator or security license (where required).
• Strong understanding of fraud detection, retail theft prevention, and evidence documentation.
• Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.
