Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure our AWS-based infrastructure, virtual desktop environment, and internal access architecture.
You will lead the deployment of secure AWS WorkSpaces, hardened Linux VM environments, and modern identity-based access controls.
Responsibilities
- Architect and secure AWS infrastructure environments
- Deploy and secure AWS WorkSpaces environments
- Build and harden private Linux virtual machine environments
- Implement identity-based SSH access and eliminate static SSH keys
- Design and deploy secure network access using Tailscale
- Establish logging, monitoring, and backup standards
- Decommission legacy and unmanaged systems
- Document security architecture and operational standards
Qualifications
- Strong experience in AWS security or infrastructure engineering
- Deep knowledge of IAM, VPC design, EC2, and cloud security practices
- Experience deploying or operating virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
- Strong Linux administration and system hardening experience
- Familiarity with zero trust networking concepts
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- Ability to operate independently and design long-term scalable systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS WorkSpaces
- Experience with Tailscale or modern secure access solutions
- Experience supporting compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
