TurfXpert is a locally owned lawn care company seeking a dependable Lawn Care Technician to join our team. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and treats customers and their properties with care.
Our services focus on lawn fertilization, weed control, and turf health. This is a lawn treatment position rather than a mowing or landscaping role.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizer, weed control, and other lawn treatments according to company procedures and product label instructions.
- Complete assigned routes efficiently while maintaining quality and safety.
- Identify lawn concerns and communicate findings to the office and customers.
- Document completed services, property conditions, and follow-up needs using our mobile software.
- Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic service questions.
- Keep your assigned truck, equipment, and supplies clean and organized.
- Follow safe driving, equipment handling, and application practices.
- Work with the office and operations team to address service calls and customer concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physical work, including walking properties, lifting supplies, and operating application equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Professional communication and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently while staying accountable to the team.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for service documentation.
- Lawn treatment experience and relevant applicator credentials are preferred.
