Turf Tech is hiring a motivated and dependable Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, outdoor role focused on applying lawn treatments, diagnosing turf issues, and delivering high-quality service.
This is a full-time, year-round position. During the lawn care season, you’ll focus on fertilization and weed control. In the off-season, you’ll stay busy supporting other divisions of the company.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and wants to grow within a company.
What You’ll Do
- Apply fertilizers, weed control, and lawn treatments
- Mix and handle lawn care products safely and accurately
- Operate spray rigs, spreaders, and application equipment
- Identify lawn issues (weeds, disease, nutrient deficiencies)
- Communicate with customers about services and expectations
- Maintain accurate service records
- Keep equipment and vehicles clean and organized
Additional work throughout the year may include:
- Leaf removal services
- Landscaping and property improvement projects
- Bed weed control and vegetation management
- Snow & ice management (winter operations)
What We’re Looking For
- Lawn care or chemical application experience preferred, but not required
- No license? No problem — we will train the right individual
- Willing to train candidates with verified experience as a landscaping crew lead or mowing crew lead
- Ability to obtain a pesticide applicator license (we assist with certification)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Bilingual or veterans encouraged to apply
