Duties:
A lawn care spray technician, often known as a lawn care applicator or technician, has several important duties related to the maintenance and treatment of lawns. These duties typically include:
1. **Application of Pesticides and Fertilizers:** Applying pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers to lawns as per the recommended schedules and in accordance with local regulations.
2. **Equipment Maintenance:** Properly maintaining and calibrating equipment such as sprayers, spreaders, and other machinery used for applying treatments.
3. **Assessment:** Inspecting lawns for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and recommending appropriate treatments.
4. **Safety Compliance:** Ensuring the safe handling and application of chemicals, following safety protocols, and using appropriate protective gear.
5. **Record Keeping:** Maintaining accurate records of applications, including product usage, dates, and quantities applied.
6. **Customer Communication:** Interacting with customers to explain treatment plans, answer questions, and address concerns.
