Lawn Care Technician
Turf Kings – Northwest Indianapolis
Turf Kings is hiring an experienced Lawn Care Technician to apply fertilization and weed control treatments to residential lawns throughout northwest Indianapolis.
This is a hands-on outdoor role focused on delivering high-quality lawn treatments and great service to homeowners.

Schedule
Monday – Friday
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Structure
Performance-based pay system (P4P)
Guaranteed minimum: $17/hour
Most technicians should earn $20–$25/hour depending on efficiency and production
Weekly pay
Performance bonuses available
What You’ll Do
- Apply fertilizer, herbicides, and other lawn treatments to residential properties
- Operate spreaders and professional lawn care equipment
- Follow pesticide label directions and safety procedures
- Identify common lawn issues such as weeds or insects
- Load and prepare materials for daily routes
- Maintain clean and organized trucks and equipment
- Communicate professionally with homeowners when needed
- Maintain your equipment
- Report large equipment or mechanical issues
Most of your day will be spent working outdoors servicing residential properties throughout the area.
What We’re Looking For
- Indiana Registered Technician (RT) license required
- Previous experience applying fertilizer and weed control treatments preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work daily
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Basic mechanical ability to troubleshoot equipment is a plus
