Position Overview:
The Operations Assistant will support the daily operations of our landscaping crews and assist the Operations Manager with scheduling, logistics, and field coordination. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of office and fieldwork, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for the green industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with crew scheduling, job planning, and daily crew dispatch
· Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are available and in working order
· Track job progress and communicate updates to the Operations Manager
· Support crews in the field as needed (site setup, material delivery, etc.)
· Maintain records of timesheets, and job site notes
· Help coordinate vendor deliveries and offload
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or field operations
· Experience running heavy equipment (Skid Steer, Loader, etc.)
· Ability to read and interpret construction plans
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Class A CDL (preferred)
