What are the responsibilities and job description for the QEC Mechanic position at Turbopower LLC?
Basic Function
Perform disassembly and assembly for T56/501D Series I, II & III Engines and their respective QECK’s, Modules, Components, Subassemblies and accessories. Perform intermediate and depot level repairs using approved data on the T56/501D QECK. Also build up and mating of QECK to engine, leak check, prepare for test and final preservation.

- Proper use and knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Disassembly, sub-assembly, and final assembly of QECK’s
- Disassembly, assembly, and testing of aircraft accessories.
- Understand configuration & fits requirements during build.
- Know and perform proper servicing procedures.
- Ensure all work is complete and IAW posted work scopes.
- Prior experience with electrical systems and wiring, hydraulic, oil, fuel and air systems.
- Familiarization with and able to read & interpret engine manuals, drawings/prints, and bulletin compliance.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English.
- Must possess basic set of tools.
- Airframe & Powerplant license strongly preferred.
