What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Janitor position at Turbocam International?
Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for keeping TURBOCAM facilities in clean and orderly condition by performing a variety of cleaning duties as assigned.
Come Build with Us by:
- Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Steam-cleaning or shampooing carpets as needed.
- Gathering and emptying trash throughout facility.
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms, showers, fitness room and cafeteria.
- Dusting for cobwebs, countertops, filing cabinets, cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Observing and reporting items needing repair and/or potential hazards to lead, supervisor, building facilities or safety staff as applicable.
- Stocking restroom cart with supplies and equipment needed for cleaning duties.
- Following instructions on Janitorial checklists.
- Performing other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience performing janitorial duties preferred.
- Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.
- Must possess valid driver's license from his/her state of residence and reliable transportation based on travel to other facilities.
- Must be able to work extended/flexible hours when needed.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. in a safe manner and on frequent basis.
- Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
