Mobile Brake Repair Technician – Full-Time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (initial 90-day contract with strong possibility to extend)

What You’ll Do
- Perform brake repair services, including pad, rotor, caliper, hose replacement and related components.
- Diagnose and resolve common brake system issues using mobile diagnostic tools.
- Pick up parts and recycle used parts properly.
- Travel to customer locations within our Charlotte-area service area.
- Responsible for operating a company vehicle safely and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe company van and workspace.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to explain repairs and ensure satisfaction.
- Follow all safety and operational protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, 30-40 hours per week as needed
- Approx. 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Saturdays optional but not required
- $20 per hour, paid biweekly.
- Overtime opportunities may be available.
- Company van, tools, and uniforms provided.
Ideal Candidate
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. This position requires working outdoors year-round in hot, cold, or wet conditions.
- Mechanically inclined or eager to learn hands-on automotive skills.
Requirements
- 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to the Mooresville–Huntersville starting point each day.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods, and safely lift 75 lbs multiple times per day as an essential job function.
- ASE certification or prior automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
Employment Terms
- Initial 90-Day Contract: Position begins with a 90-day contract to ensure a strong fit for both you and the company.
- Must demonstrate satisfactory progress in mechanical training and job performance during the initial 90-day contract to qualify for continued employment.
