Oil Change Technician

Position Summary:

The Oil Change Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and tire rotations. This role is key to ensuring customer satisfaction by providing fast, friendly, and professional service that keeps vehicles operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes and lubrication services according to manufacturer and company standards.
• Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and other serviceable parts as needed.
• Check and top off all vehicle fluids (coolant, transmission, brake, power steering, etc.).
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections, including tire pressure and tread depth checks.
• Properly document all work performed and communicate findings to service advisors or customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and environmental regulations regarding disposal of fluids and materials.
• Assist with other light maintenance services as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications:

Required

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Previous experience as an oil change technician, lube technician, or in a related automotive service role.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and basic diagnostic procedures.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification a plus.
