Turbeville Insurance is seeking a full-time Personal Lines Account Manager at the company’s Lexington, SC location. The Account Manager provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel. The position requires a positive attitude and provides a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing our personal accounts.

- Manage an assigned book of personal lines insurance accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients, producers, and company representatives.
- Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and other policy changes accurately and within agency standards.
- Review renewals for adequate coverage, identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and discuss options with clients.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, policy changes, claims, billing, and proof of coverage.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and insurance summaries using our agency management system ( Partner XE) and carrier rating platforms.
- Verify the accuracy of policy documents, binders, and endorsements before delivery to clients.
- Maintain complete and accurate electronic client files and documentation in accordance with agency procedures.
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding coverage terms, claims, and resolve service or billing issues.
- Assist clients with claims reporting and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay informed on carrier underwriting guidelines, product changes, and market trends.
- Support agency marketing and retention efforts by maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers.
- Adhere o all agency, state, and federal regulations and compliance standards.
- Participate in training and continuing education to maintain required licenses and professional development.
Preferred Experience:
- SC P&C Insurance License preferred
- SC Broker License Preferred
- Two Years’ experience in Personal Lines via an insurance agency environment preferred
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
