- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before and after use
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as necessary
- Manage patient records and ensure that all information is accurately entered and maintained
- Provide patients with instructions for post-operative and general oral care
- Help maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
- Ensure that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program is preferred
- Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and dental software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective patient care
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and time management abilities
