Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Licensed Practical Nurse (CLPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. We are a fast paced primary care office. Experience with Epic a plus. No holidays, nights or weekends.
Duties
- Perform patient intake assessments and document medical histories accurately
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature
- Administer medications following physician orders and safety protocols
- Utilize EHR systems for documentation and medical record management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and post-care instructions
- Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures in clinic
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to hospital protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a CLPN or CMA with current licensure or registration
- Proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks
- Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) certification is required
- Excellent patient service skills with compassionate communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments including outpatient clinics or
- Prior experience in internal medicine or clinic settings is preferred
