What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tent Setup Crew (Part Time, Seasonal) position at Tupelo Event Rentals?
Job Description:
We’re hiring reliable, hard-working individuals to join our Event Setup Crew for the busy spring/summer season. You’ll work directly with the owner to deliver and install high peak frame tents, pole tents, and other rental equipment. This is an active, outdoor role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys physical work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading rental equipment
- Set up and take down tents
- Set up tables, chairs, dance floors, and lighting
- Travel to various event locations across North Mississippi
- Follow safety instructions and work efficiently on-site
- Represent Tupelo Event Rentals with a professional, courteous attitude
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Setups typically occur on Thursdays and Fridays; some Saturdays
- Takedowns typically occur on Mondays and Tuesdays; some Sundays
- Ideal for someone looking to earn extra income around school, work, or other commitments
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical work outdoors
- Comfortable working in Mississippi weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from our Tupelo base
- Willing to travel; some days may require 3 hours of round trip driving.
