What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Milker, Commercial Goat Dairy position at Tup's Crossing Farm?
Tup's Crossing Farm is looking to add a part-time milker to the team!
We are looking to fill 4 morning shifts a week, with flexibility to work around the new team member's availability for which 4 mornings: Monday-Saturday. The position could potentially be split between two people, each taking 2 shifts or we would be happy to have one new team member pick up all four.
The morning milking shift runs from 4:30am to 7:30-8:00am. Pay starts at $75/shift and will go up to $80 with experience.
Work requires being able to work independently, remain attentive to details, lift 50lbs, be with dogs, and occasionally wrestle an obstinate goat. This is a milking position only and no additional farm work beyond milking parlor prep and clean-up will be required.
Reliability and clear communication skills are a must. Interest in a longer term commitment to the farm is highly desired. We are in Orwell, VT. Serious Inquiries only please.
