Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director-Special Education, provide instruction, assessment and program planning for special education students with a primary disability of autism, deaf-blindness, moderate to severe intellectual disability, multiple disabilities, and/or serious emotional disturbance; monitor and evaluate students progress and behavior; research, obtain and provide instructional materials for special education services; serve as an informational resource for students, parents, District personnel and community organizations; work within a self-contained classroom.

Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Drive's license
Possession of or qualification for a valid California Credential in Special Education, authorizing instruction for the Hearing Impaired.
Demonstrate Communication in American sign Language
Successful teaching experience, or successful remedial teaching experience, or student teaching or internship in a program for pupils with a hearing impairment.
