Duties
- Lead daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance on sales techniques, merchandising, and customer interactions
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and cashiering activities with accuracy and integrity
- Assist with employee orientation, training & development initiatives to enhance team performance
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires, participate in recruiting efforts, and assist with onboarding processes
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with company policies at all times
Experience
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience within retail or grocery environments
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in team management and training & development
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and employee orientation practices
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Previous experience in retail sales or store management roles is highly desirable
