What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Design Engineer / EI position at Tunstall Consulting Engineers PLLC?
Civil Engineer / EI position will perform planning and design tasks for stormwater, water and wastewater utilities, as well as civil design tasks associated with A&E multi-discipline projects. The position will be technically involved in detailed civil design work using AutoCAD, detailed review of work completed by others, coordination of civil and non-civil designs on multi-discipline projects, as well as resolution of construction issues that may include performing field investigations.
Accountabilities:
· Development of Designs in CAD is Required
· Complete Civil Engineering Design Computations
· Development of Sanitary Collection Systems & Pump Stations
· Development of Stormwater Conveyance Systems Computer Models
· Hydraulic Water System Modeling
· Stormwater BMP Design & Modeling
· Work Closely with Other Disciplines on Multi-Discipline Projects
· Provide Input and Be Involved with Proposals, Work Scope, Work Schedule and Budgets
Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is Required
EI Certification is Required
Related Work Experience is a Plus
Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D is Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is a Plus
Proficiency in ArcGIS is a Plus
Proficiency in WaterCAD, HydroCAD, SewerCAD, Hydraflow and PondPack is a Plus
