Job Description

Job Type: Benefited full-time; in person

Work Location: Laramie, WY

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for keeping TPW's production equipment, furnaces, and facilities running safely and reliably in a 24/7/365 manufacturing environment. This position owns the preventive maintenance schedule, leads maintenance activities on complex furnaces and production machinery, coordinates outside subcontractors, and supports facility maintenance and planning operations across the site.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience in a production environment, strong planning and organizational skills, good judgment around safety, and the ability to work effectively with operators, supervisors, and outside vendors.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and execute the preventive maintenance schedule for production equipment, furnaces, and facility systems.

• Perform and lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on complex furnaces and production machinery.

• Plan maintenance windows to minimize disruption to production sequencing and throughput.

• Source, schedule, and supervise subcontractors for specialized repairs, installations, and facility work.

• Support facility maintenance and planning operations, including building systems, utilities, and site infrastructure.

• Maintain maintenance logs, equipment records, and documentation in their entirety.

• Manage spare parts, consumables, and maintenance supplies.

• Communicate equipment status, downtime risks, and repair needs to production leadership.

• Enforce safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, during all maintenance activities.

• Support continuous improvement in equipment reliability and uptime.

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Hands-on maintenance experience required; production or manufacturing environment experience ideal.

• Experience maintaining furnaces, ovens, or comparable thermal processing equipment preferred.

• Experience coordinating and working with subcontractors and outside vendors.

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.

• Able to plan, prioritize, and document maintenance work.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

• Must pass background check.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
