We are seeking motivated Engineering Interns to support engineering projects and day-to-day technical activities. This role is designed for students who want hands-on experience improving real manufacturing processes and products in a fast‑growing defense and aerospace supplier.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in improving and troubleshooting tungsten heavy alloy manufacturing processes on active production lines.
- Run and document basic experiments on process parameters under the guidance of an engineer.
- Create and update CAD models and engineering drawings for tooling, fixtures, and product components.
- Collect production data, perform basic analysis in Excel or similar tools, and summarize findings for your mentor.
- Participate in root‑cause investigations for quality or yield issues and help implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering team members to support daily technical needs on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Preferred: experience with CAD (such as SolidWorks) and basic data analysis in Excel or similar tools.
- This is a full-time, in-person internship based at our Laramie, WY facilities. Remote work is not available because you will be working directly with equipment, processes, and teams on site.
